Now as a frugal dater, a first or second date should cost you less then one Andrew Jackson. (“That’s just our own personal rule”).
Now I’ve heard from some that women keep tabs on how much somebody spends on them and how much affection you get from them depends on where you’ve actually reached on the spending scale (we’re working on our piece about this actually and will link back later.)
This doesn’t mean you can’t have a great second date leaving a lasting first impression for under $20. This does not include any meals at a fast food joint’s dollar menu, coffee as the main course, using the free peanuts from the bar as the fill up either!! All of these things would lead to a lasting impression (and you being blocked from ever leaving a voice mail / text message / IM ever again).
Now I have this as a second date, because I don’t invite anyone over my place until after I’ve had at least one date to meet them (and check for the crazy eyes) go through a few of my own personal secret checks to see if I have a potential stalker on my hands. And I might suggest that you do the same.
So if you’re not a total klutz in the kitchen, and your tv is big enough to watch a movie on comfortably (meaning that it’s bigger then a large cell phone screen) , and last but not least, your place is presentable / you can get it alone for an evening.
Here’s what you’re going to need
