Charlotte on a Tuesday night (between 5pm & 10pm) and you have less money then could burn a hole in your pocket then you might want to take your date to the Mint Museum of Art. Who knows they might get excited by a little free culture.

Now even though we’re all going through tough times (including the museum) the letter from the Executive Director (available for viewing on the office website) stated:
We are proud to continue to grant free access to school groups, offer discounted admission to students and senior citizens, and provide the community with free visiting hours on Tuesdays. I hope the public will continue to take advantage of these benefits and visit us often.
