coffeeheartOne of the most popular first date options is to go out and meet for coffee. Coffee and meeting seems to be almost synonymous with Starbucks (although McDonald’s and their McCafe is trying to gain ground on that and doing a fairly good job from what I’ve read.) Around here a lot of the Starbucks are actually incorporated into Barnes & Nobles bookstores. It used to be if you wanted to jump on the WiFi network while there you had to pay for the AT&T access. Now however in a new deal Barnes & Nobels has announced a new deal to provide FREE WiFi to it’s customers via AT&T.

Now with free internet access, if your meet and greet is going well then you can use your smartphone, iphone, or other internet enabled device to find out where to go to next. (Like jumping back here to FrugalDater.com to see what kinds of events are going on in your area).

And if it doesn’t go well, then you’ve still got your coffee and you’re internet to check you’re email to see who else you could wrangle up to salvage the evening.

Happy Dating…
