If you or your date is a history buff or like documentaries, then check out the Marietta Museum of History’s speaker Jeff Rose who will be talking about the movie My Christmas Soldier.
A small Georgia town struggles with the rationing and the sacrifices of America at war. Christmas is no exception. The townspeople learn the true meaning of “good will toward men” when a train loaded with German prisoners arrives in the station on Christmas Eve 1943. The movie is called My Christmas Soldier and local Actor and Producer Jeff Rose (currently appearing in the Lifetime Network show “Army Wives“) will be here to talk about the movie and its making.
