Ever been curious about someone you’ve been talking to? Well there’s a new search engine around that’s all about finding people called Pipl.
You can see right from the homepage screenshot that it gives you the option to search right from a screen name directly. Now with this screenname, you don’t have to put the @ and the last part of the name (like yahoo, aim, etc).
You can still Google someone to try and find their deep dark secrets, but there’s other engines out there that are coming out for expressly that purpose. As the rule goes, you might try searching yourself, your screenname(s) and your phone number – especially if you’re in the job hunt these days because potential employers are definatelly looking at what kind of extra curricular activites you’re posting up online. Some old school HR people only know to put your name into Google, and some are staying ahead of the curve. (Better stay ahead of the curve as well)
