Hot Summer Nights Free concert featuring Donnie Murray and also featuring Susan Sherlock, hammered dulcimer.  Art exhibit by featured artist Jon Rouche of Rock Hill, SC.  It’s indoors – and you’ll need to  bring a chair!

Sometimes going to the live theatre beats going to the movies, after all not all great productions get brought to the big screen. Shear Madness is one of the longest running broadway shows lasting over 20 years. (As a side note – we’re posting this a little earlier then normal since there’s a limited number of free tickets available)

Ok Frugal Daters time for a free date that has a bit of a literary twist to it – a poetry reading and as an added bonus it’s at a coffee house (although most of them are)

This monthly event is hosted by CVCC instructor Scott Owens and co-sponsored by Main Street Rag.

Charlotte on a Tuesday night (between 5pm & 10pm)  and you have less money then could burn a hole in your pocket then you might want to take your date to the Mint Museum of Art. Who knows they might get excited by a little free culture.
